Our tutors specialize in providing one-on-one tutoring, catering to the learning styles of each individual student. Calculus isn’t easy, but it can be a lot of fun! Whether you are looking for course content help, supplemental materials, time to work on assignments, or even just an accountability buddy, we’ve got you covered.

The calculus curriculum covers a wide variety of topics, many of which are built on the foundation of previous courses like algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Calculus topics include, but are not limited to:

• Limits and continuity

• Derivatives, rules of differentiation, applications of derivatives

• Function analysis

• Integrals, rules of integration, applications of integrals

All tutoring sessions are held in-person at a public location, or online via Google Meet.

Students come to our calculus tutors prepared with questions, classwork, homework assignments, notes, or quizzes and exams for review. Calculus tutors provide personalized instruction to work through the material with the student. We pride ourselves not only for our ability to explain the material, but for helping students realize that they have the knowledge and capability to find the answers to their own questions. Tangerine Tutoring covers all high school and college level math and science, which includes Calculus. This means we support high school level calculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and IB Math or IB Calculus. We have ample experience working directly with students of all ages and ability. Our tutors are passionate and excited about the materials they teach, and excel at explaining difficult concepts in an easy-to-understand fashion that is sure to make the subject stick!
