Kelly graduated from the University of Florida with a Master’s degree in Forensic Science and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physics/Chemistry from The College of New Jersey. She has more than 10 years of tutoring experience.

She believes learning is a journey and a skill best accompanied by a knowledgeable, patient, and understanding coach. She specializes in high school and college level math, chemistry, and physics. Kelly excels at providing multiple ways to approach a single problem, as well as giving real life examples of abstract concepts. She has even been on the receiving end of tutoring and can vouch for its importance and efficacy!

Kelly grew up in New Jersey and currently resides in Saint Paul, MN with her husband and two dogs. She loves spending time in the garden, crafting (especially crochet), cartoons, and spending lots of time snuggling her pitties, Pistachio and Apple.

ETHAN RICK - Tutor
Chemistry
Virtual

Ethan is currently pursuing his BS in Chemistry. He has over two years of tutoring experience working for his college science resource center, specializing in Chemistry, tutoring high school level chemistry through Organic Chemistry 2.

He believes learning is a different process for each individual student. Ethan's teaching style is based on learning the fundamentals of a subject and how that allows one to approach problems from various perspectives. Application to the real world and understanding the process, along with the “why” behind the methodology of the subject, are essential to him, as he believes this is an excellent method for understanding the fields you are studying.

Ethan grew up in Minnesota and lives in White Bear Lake while pursuing his degree. He likes to travel, hike, and spend time with his friends.

She enjoys helping others develop a strong understanding of concepts while tailoring her approach to individual learning styles.

Outside of tutoring, Meg enjoys running, playing guitar, reading over copious amounts of tea, cooking for friends, and frequent trips to HMart. She is excited to help with any questions and looks forward to working with you!

ALEKSANDER “FOX” BRUBACH - Tutor
Algebra, Geometry, Trigononmetry, Chemistry, Physics
Virtual

Fox is currently pursuing a BS in Chemistry at The University of Central Florida. His hope after school is to work in a lab running hands on-experiments. Eventually he wants to return to school to complete a doctorate in nuclear chemistry

Fox has a lifelong love for the maths and sciences, and hopes to help others feel the same. Helping people understand mathematical concepts matters much more to him than finding the right answer. Whatever method of understanding works for you works for him and he will approach it with enthusiasm.

Aside from school, Fox enjoys gaming, collecting Nintendo games and consoles from every era, and making cosplays of his favorite characters from media.

KAYLA MURPHY - Tutor
Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Spanish
Virtual

Kayla earned her Doctorate of Physical therapy from Boston University in 2024, graduated from Arcadia University in 2021 with a Bachelor's in Biology. Kayla played DIII collegiate soccer for 4 years and enjoyed helping her teammates on the field and in the classroom. She helped her younger teammates in Biology and Spanish-related classes.

Kayla believes tutoring is a two-way street; she enjoys teaching the material while also learning what strategies do and don't work for each individual. Not everyone learns the same way, and that is okay! She strives to find new ways to teach a subject to better cater to a student's learning style. Kayla's favorite subjects to tutor are Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Spanish.

Kayla is currently in Nashville, TN working in a neuro pediatrics physical therapy office. When she's in the Physical Therapy Clinic, she is often educating patients on exercise, treatment plans, and pathologies. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys exploring the city with friends, going on hikes, and running.
