Ethan is currently pursuing his BS in Chemistry. He has over a year of tutoring experience working for his college science resource center, specializing in Chemistry, tutoring high school chemistry through Organic Chemistry 2.

He believes learning is a different process for each individual student. Ethan's teaching style is based on learning the fundamentals of a subject and how that allows one to approach problems from various perspectives. Application to the real world and understanding the process, along with the “why” behind the methodology of the subject, are essential to him, as he believes this is an excellent method for understanding the fields you are studying.

Ethan grew up in Minnesota and lives in White Bear Lake while pursuing his degree. He likes to travel, hike, and spend time with his friends.

KAYLA MURPHY - Tutor
Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Spanish
Virtual

Kayla earned her Doctorate of Physical therapy from Boston University in 2024, graduated from Arcadia University in 2021 with a Bachelor's in Biology. Kayla played DIII collegiate soccer for 4 years and enjoyed helping her teammates on the field and in the classroom. She helped her younger teammates in Biology and Spanish-related classes.

Kayla believes tutoring is a two-way street; she enjoys teaching the material while also learning what strategies do and don't work for each individual. Not everyone learns the same way, and that is okay! She strives to find new ways to teach a subject to better cater to a student's learning style. Kayla's favorite subjects to tutor are Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Spanish.

Kayla is currently in Nashville, TN working in a neuro pediatrics physical therapy office. When she's in the Physical Therapy Clinic, she is often educating patients on exercise, treatment plans, and pathologies. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys exploring the city with friends, going on hikes, and running.
